Anime: Hakuouki Hekketsuroku postponed  
... for 2 days. Announced in the official twitter here & here.
The soonest would be October 4th, 9:30 AM (Tokyo time).
So don't stay up late waiting for raws on Oct 2nd. There won't be one until Oct 4th. ;)
All other TV stations scheduled to air Hakuouki Hekketsuroku earlier will air a special program "Memories in Kyoto" (recaps of season 1) instead.
Only AT-X will show "Memories in Kyoto" at 9AM & 9PM, followed by the first episode on 9:30AM & 9:30PM.

Hakuouki Hekketsuroku would run for 10+2 episodes. No info on what the "10+2" (rather than "12") exactly means. This is given by TOKYO MX TV station, according to the fans that called the TV stations to confirm the air date.

BTW, there'll be a Hakuouki-only shop at ACOS Ikebukuro on Oct 21~31, featuring:
　① Displaying: life size panels of Shinsengumi (the main 5) and Kazama, signatures from the cast, Reimeiroku PV, and other Hakuouki cosplay costumes.
　② Taking photos with the panals while wearing Chizuru's costume. (Fees apply.)
　③ First visitors get a free promotional card of Harada Sanosuke. (While supplies last.)
　④ Lottery for Hakuouki merchandise. 1st prize = Chizuru costume. (￥300 per draw.)
If you happen to be in Japan during this time, don't miss it!
And take some pictures for us too. :D (If photography is allowed.)

+2 ? I guess, 2 extra episodes that's won't be shown during the actual broadcast time... available from the dvd only?

This info was given by the TV station. So these 2 episodes should be on TV too, or the TV station wouldn't be informed of it.

I think it's likely that the main story ends in 10 episodes, leaving 2 more for something else... such as alternative ending for Okita, Saitou, Toudou, and Harada routes!! XD (Hey, I can dream!)

I'm hoping they will animate more stuff from Zuisouroku... But alternative endings? I would so die for Souji's! And thank you for the info!

Hmm... Since in the second season it's almost impossible to add anymore Zuisouroku events (except for Hijikata's), using extra episodes for it would be nice too. :D

This season have 10 or 12 episodes in exactly? Maybe they put 2 special episodes, I guess.

The total should be 12 episodes, but main storyline may end at 10. Judging from the spoilers given, 2nd season seems to be fast paced, so 10 episodes should be just right. :)

And I just noticed in one of the pics, there's the blood scene with Hijikata-san!!!! I couldn't be any happier. I so wanted to see it animated. YEAH for them taking Hijikata-san's route (^_____^)y

That illust of Saitou and Hijikata under the moonlight is killing me with prettiness.
I'm wondering what that cryptic 10+2 episodes means too... It would be awesome if it was really some drama cd (hopefully the crack ones) or maybe two extended SSL episodes.

That illust is so beautiful that I want to buy the book just for it.
But next month's B's Log & Dengeki Girl's Style both have Reimeiroku on cover (illust by Kazuki Yone too), and there's preorder for Hakuouki calender... so hard to decide. XD

Aw, it's too bad that it's being delayed for a couple of days. I guess my anticipation will have to last a bit longer. I wish I could be in Japan for those events. T_T I also wonder what the 10+2 means. I'm among the group that hopes it's an animated version of the drama CDs. Thanks for posting the pictures too. They look awesome. ^_^

I've got a feeling that the "+2 episodes" are the recapped episodes aired before the second season official episodes.

The art style seems to changed a bit for this season. *is happy*
The way they draw Saitou in first season sometime makes me want to say, "Gilbert, you're in the wrong studio. Pandora Hearts is filming next door." XD

lol! gilbert! yeah! his hair look too curly than it should be. and i think he made less appearance (as well as cuteness XDD) in season 1.
season 2 ftw!!!!!!
